-
At Exit
#132, turn right on Rt. 13, go to the center of Somerset (statue of
General Sheridan)
-
Go
around the Statue so that you end up making a left turn onto Rt. 22
heading east.
-
At
Somerset, take Rt. 22 east 10.5 miles to Rt. 345
-
See
Details below for turning onto Rt. 345 and getting into the lake.
-
Stop at gate; tell them you are with Pack 560. Proceed to
Shelter #9.
Important Details:
As you approach East Fultonham on Rt. 22, watch
closely for the turn-off to Rt. 345. Get on the brakes when you see the
sign for JCT 345 and be prepared to turn right onto Rt. 345 just before
you get to the bottom of the hill. Rt. 345 is exactly 10.5 miles from the
statue of General Sheridan in the middle of Somerset. You will also see
a sign that says "Zanesville 10 miles" just before you turn onto Rt.
345. There are not many other landmarks in the area so watch
closely for the Rt. 345 turn. Follow signs from the old Dairy
Queen (now called something else) to the lake entrance.
Estimated travel time: 1hr 20 minutes.
